Diwali the festival of lights. Diwali came from the word Deepavali means the string of lamps. This festival is celebrated in India every year as a welcoming of Shri ram. Shri ram came back to his home Ayodhya with his wife Sita rescuing her from the catch of Ravan that day is celebrated as Diwali as a welcome of the Shri ram, maa Sita and Shri Laxman.
